Selling a home in Shakopee: what I would do before listing
Selling a house is not just putting a sign in the yard. The work before the listing goes live can have a big effect on how buyers see the property.
Start with the numbers
Look at recent comparable sales, current competition and the characteristics that make your property different. The goal is a price grounded in the market.
Do not renovate everything
Not every dated feature needs to be replaced. Separate things that affect buyer perception from projects that are expensive but unlikely to return their cost.
Photography matters
Your online presentation is often the first showing. Good photos should accurately show the home, make spaces easy to understand and help buyers decide whether the property is worth seeing.
Have a plan for launch day
Pricing, photography, description, showing availability and communication should be coordinated. Then watch the response and adjust based on evidence.
